Notes for Notepad / Notepad++ users
jvim keeps common desktop-editor shortcuts in the editor body. The vim-like keys are limited to the file tree.

Additional features
Section titled “Additional features”- Folder-based editing. Open a folder, not just a file. The left panel is a file tree.
- Markdown live styling. Headings, lists, code fences are styled inline as you type.
- Wikilinks
[[link]]. Type[[to autocomplete a vault file. Backlinks panel shows who links here. - Tags
#topic. Type#to autocomplete vault-wide tags. Tag browser (F7). - Full-text search. Shift+F4 searches the open folder.
- Command palette (F4). Search common commands by name.
Differences to watch
Section titled “Differences to watch”- Ctrl+W closes the buffer, not the window. (jvim doesn’t have windows.)
- Tabs: Ctrl+PgUp / Ctrl+PgDn cycle open buffers.
- No menus. Everything is in the command palette (F4) or help (F1).
